Another weekend trip to Norfolk, taking advantage of special weekend offers at the Travelodge.
It was a foggy day, and the castle at Castle Rising seemed particularly creepy. I remember the cold, damp feeling. Afterwards was a visit to Snettisham, an RSPB reserve based on the Wash. The timing was crucial as it is at its best at high tide when the mud flats disappear and the birds are forced to huddle together nearby.
