This is the location of an ex-Little Chef building. My last known visit was in June 2009.

The Winterbourne Abbas Little Chef was one of my other regular meal stops. This was a three-hour drive from my home if I was heading towards the West Country. So I would leave at six in the morning to avoid the rush hour traffic on the A27; then, at about 9 am, I would be ready for breakfast.

This was one of the Little Chefs that had the “British” upgrade circa 2011. It was eventually abandoned as the Little Chef era came to an end. A car dealership took over the building around 2018 and is the current occupier.

I note some new houses appeared beyond the Little Chef building around 2019. There is also a lot of construction work in the latest 2021 images, which I later found out was a three-year project to replace the electric pylons near Winterbourne Abbas with concealed underground cables.
