Today was the big moment. I was securing the wheels in position.

The instructions showed how to line up the cogs. A specific tooth had to fall into the specific sprocket. I thought this was just to ensure the cogs fitted but later realised that it was to get the linkages lined up.

I was a bit worried at first, the wheels seemed to be catching. After a few revolutions it sorted itself out. I guess some bits of candle were getting in the way.
