Winter conditions day 4

Managed to have a Premier Inn “all I can eat” breakfast this morning although I managed to break the coffee dispenser. I hate self service mechanical equipment, they never work when I use them.

The journey home was uneventful once I recovered from the trauma of hitting a pheasant. My plan worked perfectly, the roads around Brighton were clear. The sides of the road were piled high with snow indicating the problems that had occurred the previous day.

Feeling proud of myself for making it safely home, I then received a phone call from someone who persuaded me to go on another journey. This journey ended with my car getting stuck by ice on a country lane. I was rescued but had to leave my car stranded 60 miles from home. Worse still, the following day I went down with Swine flu.
