Train fares
My train journey this morning cost £25.70, I had no choice but to get a peak fare. My journey home cost £3.75, bargain. I actually purchased my tickets in December, and because I booked a specific train, I got a huge discount.

Cornish pasty and a couple of cookies and I am ready to hear about Fred Hoyle and the moon.
Astrofest
Waiting for the first conference to start. A talk on the moons of Jupiter. First thing I noticed today that all the exhibitors have changed places, first time in at least 10 years.

Sending this from the train. I spent half an hour last night looking for my tickets. I eventually found them in the safe place along with my oyster card. For a change, I got the train with time to spare.
